Privacy policy

Account details. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email address. We don't receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Orders. Your shipping address, the items you buy, and order and shipment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Seller information. Your storefront details, listings (titles, descriptions, photos, prices, measurements and condition notes), sales history, and payout records.

Connected marketplace accounts. If you connect eBay or Nifty, we store the access tokens those services issue so we can publish and update listings for you. Tokens are encrypted at rest. We never receive your eBay or Nifty password.

Messages and AI requests. Messages between buyers and sellers, and the questions you ask ThreadVet's AI shopping and listing assistants.

To run the marketplace: process orders and payouts, show your listings to buyers, and keep inventory in sync across the marketplaces you connect.

To publish and update your listings on eBay and other marketplaces, only when you've connected them and only for the actions you take in ThreadVet, such as approving a listing or saving an edit.

To enforce our seller quality standards, prevent fraud, and respond to disputes.

Marketplaces you connect (eBay, and those reached through Nifty such as Poshmark and Depop) receive the listing data needed to publish your items.

Stripe processes payments. AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) process listing notes, photos and assistant questions to generate listings and answers.

Ad platforms (Google and Meta) receive listing details if a seller chooses to run an ad campaign.

We don't sell your personal information.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a guest cookie so a cart works before you sign in, and short-lived cookies that protect sign-in and account-connection flows from tampering. If you arrive through a seller's ad, a first-party cookie records which campaign sent you for 30 days, so the seller can see which ads led to a sale. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

You can revoke ThreadVet's access to eBay or Nifty at any time from that service's own account settings, or ask us to disconnect it. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing brandon.dunc224@gmail.com. We keep order and payout records as long as the law requires.
